Training Camp

To recruit additional male volunteers as child advocates, Richland County CASA birthed the concept of “CASA Quarterbacks” in 2006. Beginning with only 13 men, the organization now has over 100 male volunteers. The spirited CASA Quarterback’s have shared their vision and techniques with over 1,000 people throughout the nation. The Delegation has trained locally as well as in Washington, Texas, Florida, and Washington D.C. In 2008, RCCASA sponsored a national conference ~ a two-day boot camp learning session on diversification and male recruitment. It is their hope to replicate the 2008 CASA Training Camp in 2011.
